ABOUT MOYAAPP

MoyaApp is South Africa’s all-in-one messaging and content platform. It combines powerful communication tools with access to a wide range of digital services — including public websites, information hubs, entertainment, and more — all in one app. Best of all, selected features and websites are available data-free on supported mobile networks (of which; MTN, Cell C, Telkom or Vodacom in South Africa).


MESSAGING & COMMUNICATION:
• Unlimited text messaging and voice notes, even when when you run out of data, MoyaApp will not cut you off from sending text messages as long as long as you keep your mobile data on when you run out of data or airtime (applicable to selected mobile network providers).
• Group chats
• Voice and video calls (uses data — users are notified before use)
• End-to-end encrypted personal messages
• Offline message delivery - datafree messaging as long as you keep your mobile data on and are on MTN, Cell C, Telkom or Vodacom in South Africa.
• Automatic contact syncing, MoyaApp will ask your permission to access your contact/ address book.

ACCESS TO PUBLIC & THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES:
MoyaApp offers seamless access to publicly available websites — including official government portals — directly within the app.

• Visit the official SASSA website: https://www.sassa.gov.za
• Check grant information, application status, and more
• MoyaApp does not submit applications, collect personal data, or provide government services.

Other Public Information:
• Load shedding updates from public data sources
• News, weather, jobs, education, health, and more

• 300+ content services (some data-free), including news, sport, entertainment, shopping, and education
• Casual games, quizzes, surveys, and rewards from third-party partners

DATA-FREE USAGE IN SOUTH AFRICA:
Selected MoyaApp features and websites are available without airtime or mobile data on supported South African networks (MTN, Vodacom, Telkom, Cell C).
MoyaApp also works internationally — but data-free access is exclusive to South Africa only.

Ratings and reviews

the app is amazing, my experience with it is astonishing however when I search up a message in conversation for example six months ago or even from yesterday, then the search results displays "No search result found!" and when I go to the basic search bar then it shows me the message or part of it although when I select the message then it just displays the latest or current chat I'm having with the person. I remember in the old version this wasn't a problem, please fix it 🙏

it was working well at the beginning when I needed it but now after deleting everything I installed this app again now it's consitantly giving a trial of error. It constantly says phone number already linked so I can't do anything but mainly go through old chats. I've done what the app said I must do 7 times to fix it but still doesn't work.

this app is awesome cause it let's you connect with your friends and family for FREE. even though i'm giving you 5 stars, there are a small issue i'd like to bring to your attention: Sometimes, more often than not, i don't recieve anything, and nothing delivers that i send untill i delete my acc and add it from scratch. this has been the same on my gf's phone. if you could fix that, I'd have to give you 6stars.😅
