Lost Pet brings missing-pet alerts, found-animal reports, and local sightings into one place. Search for a missing dog or cat near you, publish a notice in minutes, and help an animal return to its owner.

A location-based lost and found pet feed

See current notices for your area. Filter by dogs, cats, time, and status, then open a listing to view photos, identifying details, reward information, location, and contact options.

Report a sighting to the owner

If you see a pet from a listing, mark where and when you saw it. Add a photo and useful details such as the direction it was heading or whether it wore a collar. Sighting reports appear together on a map so the owner can follow the possible route and focus the search.

Publish and share a listing

Create a lost, found, or adoption notice with photos, a description, the last-seen or found location, a contact phone number, and an optional reward. Lost Pet also shares new notices through its social media communities to reach more people nearby.

Ratings and reviews

Does not give you the option to sign up with phone number or email. Only Google or Facebook, neither of which I use. So, I signed up for a Google account just to use it because it's worth the mild inconvenience to be able to find lost pets. However, every time I try to log in with it, it says: "authorization failed". Please help. Thank you.

Got stuck after doing the whole add. Could not proceed when I pressed next and there was no message giving a reason why couldn't proceed. Very disappointed, wasted my time creating the add.

Theres a glitch where it says phone number and its required. Please fix this, the app will not work unless the glitch is fixed. It's very important
