About this app

Managed Config Tool helps Android Enterprise administrators, EMM developers, and app teams inspect and validate managed configurations on-device.

Use EMM validation to inspect the managed configuration delivered to this app at runtime. See the raw Android Bundle / Parcelable structure, detect shape issues, and review the reconstructed configuration.

Use Local validation to test a target app's managed-configuration schema without changing the app's live configuration. The tool can:

- Find installed apps and import their manifest-declared managed-configuration schemas.
- Apply JSON locally and see how it maps to Android-style Bundle and Parcelable data.
- Detect common configuration-shape problems, including incorrectly wrapped bundle-array items.
- Load a sample payload or, where delegated app-restrictions access is available, import an app's current EMM payload for comparison and local testing.
- Keep editor drafts separate from the applied local validation payload, so you can test changes deliberately.
- Inspect Android Enterprise keyed app-state feedback produced by the tool.

Managed Config Tool is intended for testing, troubleshooting, and integration work. It does not act as an EMM or device policy controller, and local validation does not modify another app's managed configuration.

This is not a consumer app and offers no functionality outside of an EMM/MDM context.
