Set off on an epic (and punishing) one-button climb to the top in the first installment of this charmingly-retro styled adventure.

This game is a more action-oriented and fast-paced take on the unforgiving game genre. With expert timing you'll quickly ascend and gain ground, but just one mistake can spell disaster. With each attempt your skills will grow in an addicting loop of progression and tension.

Designed with speedrunning and replayability in mind, we believe strongly in having a healthy dose of gameplay-only unlockables and achievements that only the best and most persistent players can obtain.

Ratings and reviews

Simple, fun and addictive to play. But it is frustrating and extremely unforgiving of even the slightest mistake. A few might be good enough and have the patience to play past the first level, but most will get frustrated and quit. Unless they tone down the ricochet or let the bat recover before falling all the way down to the beginning of the level after nearly every mistake, replayability suffers a lot. Great start, but it needs some tweaks to be a game I'll play for more than a few days.

Indeed the 1st level is very hard, it should be easy in 1st level with less obstacles.. then I suggest to transition the difficulty gradually or moderately. But the gameplay is smooth and it is made in godot ❤, I really like it and support it... just the difficulty in level 1 is very frustrating based on my playing experience, I hope you can change it to easy in level 1.

I guess this is the perfect game for me, simple, addictive and fast paced. It is very laggy tho and im stuck in the first part of the crystal cave for about a week because of it. I use a Samsung Galaxy A13 and it is powerful enough to run most demanding games atleast in low graphics. Well thank you making this game and please look into this issue :)

What's new

Added a few more platforms and tweaked some enemy placements in Level 1 to make it slightly less punishing for new players.

Removed a speedrun exploit where players could wait in cutscenes to get a more optimal cycle timing. Now enemies will not move during cutscenes, so waiting provides no advantage.

This update will of course break current speedrun routes and records, but it should make speedrunning a more enjoyable experience for everyone from here on out!
