Using animated bar codes, it's possible to send data over the air using only the camera. This app is the barcode decoder (receiver). An encoder (sender) can be seen at https://cimbar.org.

Awesome work, was able to decode and save the file only the first time, and for the second time it didn't download try to save the file. Had to close the app and then scan the encoder.

This app is actually super cool, and underrated. I use it to transfer passwords and keys, securely and offline. Small files transfer surprisingly fast.

i really loved your app idea. I want you to add an option to save the QR in our device so that we can freely share them and use it to decode them

What’s new

* introducing compatibility/reliability mode `Bu`, a miniature (dare we say: micro) version of the mode `B` config.
* B > Bm > Bu in overall speed. (4C ~= B, if your screen colors are accurate)

* also introducing a (beta) in-app encoder!
* swipe vertically (up or down) to switch between the encoder and decoder view! This may make phone <-> phone transfers easier...
