The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) is proud to launch MyCMPD, an interactive public safety mobile app for Charlotte-Mecklenburg residents that provides updated, accurate, and vetted information at your fingertips. Get notified of police activity and emergencies in your area in near real-time, view crime in your neighborhood, access important CMPD information and resources, and most importantly, stay safe!

Ratings and reviews

Over funded and under supported. The only way we are going to get attention for this app to work is to flag all the positive reviews from the backers as the spam they are. Im sure a lot of money went into this project but there just isnt any support for the divisions or their officials.

This app has become unstable and no longer shows anything other than severe alerts. It won't even get past the load up of the world map on start-up.

I like that I can track happenings in the area. Would like to have "in progress"alerts too. Such as if shots are fired we know to avoid the area or go inside, or if a robbery JUST took place then we can be on the look out.
