This New Testament is the collaborative effort of emberas from many Chami communities in various departments. The project, which ended in 2020, was administered by the Foundation for the Development of Marginalized Peoples in Bogotá.

This translation attempts to express the meaning of the text in the original languages, Greek and Aramaic. Instead of following the model of some version in Spanish, the translators want to communicate the meaning in a natural and clear way, following the grammatical patterns in the ẽbẽra bed̶ea language.

Translators recognize that the issue of language vitality is real in many communities. Therefore, in translation they always look for native terms instead of using Spanish loanwords. For example, it is very common to hear the verb root do in daily communication - "hacebadau", "hacebadau", and so on. In the translation the traditional term is used, which is "wausii", "waubadau".

Translators recognize that the language has a wealth of variants. Some are pronunciation variants, such as the difference between ochiasii and ichiasii. Others are lexical differences like dai and dairã. There are also some grammatical variants. The translators searched for solutions acceptable to the majority of speakers.

This application is only available for devices with Android operating system.
