Ratings and reviews

Just amazing and unique. I haven't seen a CoG/Hosted title this exciting and fun in a long time. The premise and choices are great, and though the characters are numerous, they're also well fleshed out and very memorable. The D20 factor is a great addition! It feels more realistic to me, since chance is a real-life factor. Sometimes even the best mess up, and sometimes the underdogs get lucky. Good idea being able to turn it off for those that don't like it, but I'd suggest leaving it on.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I've read many interactive books and this one has made it to my top favorites. The plot is really intriguing and the humor is 10/10. I ended up laughing so hard during some parts. Naming the weapons is a fun choice that makes you feel more immersed in the story. The dice rolls also make the story feel more unique compared to other interactive books. I also appreciate how all the characters have their own unique backstory and you have so many options on who to romance.

this is a nice interactive fiction game. randomization of outcomes adds suspense and encourages freedom of choice, though it can be turned off. the writing is well suited for the genre. lots of content. could use another round of proofreading/ testing, but nothing that seriously detracted from the experience. i'm looking forward to the sequel(s).
