Wow. I had always felt that while Evertree Inn had a captivating story, it was a bit too short and narrow. Now that it leads into Sordwin and eventually Lux (which I look forward to greatly), that is no longer a criticism I hold. This continuation is massive and while it can be read on its own, you really do get much more out of it as a sequel. It also has a very nice challenge element that allows you to complete the story with ease, but hides a little extra for those willing to work for it.

Good story line. Fast moving plot, keeps the reader interested and involved. I felt that I had plenty of choices...which forced me to think as my chosen character would and to base my decisions on that. Truly a swashbuckling adventure. Once finished, I will go back and reread the story... Making all different choices! ~A well written, fun, story.

The story is very rich in worldbuilding and almost makes it seem real despite the fantasy setting. There's so many possibilities to be had in this game, and it'll take a while to get through all of the options! Even the side characters have their own mysteries involved and are likeable. Kind of disappointed there isn't a way to replay scenes w/o importing a save from the previous game. There are too many stats to keep track of to ensure sucess, but the story isn't unforgiving, so don't worry.
