ErgoFrio is a free application developed by ALDEFE and FITAG-UGT, with funding from the Foundation for Occupational Health and Safety (FPRL).
ErgoFrio uses the latest technology to reach the workers in the industrial refrigeration sector, an application based on "serious game" that expand their knowledge on safety and health at work.
The application consists of a series of games ranging from the more general aspects on safety and health, to more specific and focused on tasks and productive processes in the sector, using audiovisual materials (images, videos, etc.) positions real work in order that the workers to be identified in the risk situations that arise.
ErgoFrio is a pioneer and unique game in the sector, as it affects directly in the identification and treatment of ergonomic risks, whose importance has been growing in recent years to establish itself as the leading cause of accidents with sick leave.
This game is intended to be a support tool, close and always available, both for workers in the sector and for the technicians in charge of training they can find in it examples and support elements to illustrate their formative work.
Among the key features of the APP highlights:
• Sending weekly calls to users of the application to encourage their active participation.
• High variability of games (multiple choice, true / false, selection of images, etc.) that make the application more enjoyable.
• varied contents, including all important aspects of ergonomic hazards in the sector (cargo handling, identification of poor posture or forced into specific tasks, repetitive movements, injuries, disorders, etc.)
• Provides return to work (additional information / feedback) to, in this way, reinforce learning and to bring to each of the workers the message
ErgoFrio is a serious novel, fun and engaging game, adapted to working conditions in the sector, which facilitates learning in prevention of ergonomic risks contributing to improving the prevention culture in companies and therefore improving results in what refers to accidents.
