No complicated setup needed: just press Clock in and Clock out and the day is recorded. You can ignore the features you do not use.
Mr.Attendance is a time clock and attendance app for people working in Japan. Clock in and out with one tap, review shifts on a monthly calendar, and automatically total regular hours, overtime, late-night work, holiday work and paid leave.
It was designed with international workers in mind, especially people working in Japan away from their home country, so their work hours and estimated pay are easier to understand and review.
Built for detailed work rules:
• Separate scheduled, statutory and non-statutory overtime
• Track late-night work from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
• Support work that continues past midnight
• Manage paid leave, half-day leave, hourly leave, absences and compensatory days off
• Set closing dates, breaks and workplace-specific attendance rules
• Manage multiple workplaces or job names
Night shifts: enter work that crosses midnight as it is, with times past 24:00 such as 26:00. Late-night hours (22:00 to 5:00) are classified automatically, and you can record the day after a night shift and enter shift names (tags) such as Early, Late and Night with one tap.
Managers and staff can also exchange shifts as a file. Records, shift requests, shift tables and tag/work settings can be passed over LINE or email. In manager mode, distribute everyone's shift table as one file and view staff records and requests side by side. (Individuals can keep recording only their own work.)

See how many hours you can still work this week, on Home and in the summaries. Choose a limit of 20, 28, 40 or 44 hours and the app shows the time remaining.
• 28 hours a week — for the limit on permitted work outside your status of residence
• 20 hours a week — a guide to the social insurance threshold
• Useful for staying within a dependant allowance, or for totalling hours across several jobs
If you work more than one job, the total across all of them is shown too.
Systems for how hours are judged:
• Standard (judged per day)
• Weekly overtime past the statutory hours
• One-month variable working hour system, for shifts where the scheduled hours differ by day
• Flexitime
Statutory weekly hours can be set to 40 or 44, for exempt workplaces such as small shops, restaurants and clinics with fewer than 10 workers.
Notice when hours run long:
A warning appears in months that pass the guideline figures of 45 hours a month or 360 hours a year. You can also set a minimum rest between shifts.
See an estimated salary based on your settings. Hourly, daily and monthly pay are supported, along with overtime, late-night and holiday rates. Use the breakdown to compare your records with your payslip.
Export attendance records and monthly summaries as PDF. You can also share CSV or text data, and write the displayed month’s work times to a dedicated Mr.Attendance calendar in Google Calendar. Calendar export is one-way from the app and does not read your existing events.
