I'm running Kubuntu 14.04 and added the mentioned PPA, updated and installed on the desktop side and on my Samsung S4. The machines connected and I could ping. Remote mouse control didn't work at all. Multimedia didn't recognize my default player etc.. There's so many positive reviews I can only think that it might be my setup. I run dual monitors which may be giving the app some hic-ups. Next up is to try with my laptop and a single monitor.
Finally its here. I have S5 Android 4.4 and this app works on my Ubuntu 15.04 Transferring files are very easy and 100 times faster then Bluetooth 4.0. Transfer files from and to mobile phone. I use the clipboard copy feature heavily. I use it on my workstation, desktop and laptop and so far no crashes or failures. Good job KDE I am very satisfied. I am so proud of this app. Thanks for the repo ppa developer.
Very handy It's an essential app for KDE users. The funcionality is really neat, the app allows you to watch movies on a big screen without the need to stand up from your couch thanks to the remote function. If you use headphones and love loud music, incoming calls notifications really come in handy. There are many uses to this app. Plus, its perfomance is good - no crashes on my old 4.2 so far.
Works as intended, but won't get 5 stars until blue-tooth support is added for the convenience on the road
Very nice Very nice for KDE users since most other similar apps didn't support Linux. The pairing requires your phone to be on the same subnet as your PC. If it's not, you have to go to the menu and add by IP manually. This isn't explained anywhere in the app or on the website.
Error exploring device tree (sshfs error) and I can't write anything not even an "Enter" but the touchpad is working though. Using kubuntu 14.10
Fixed top 5 crashes.
(Yes, Google Play allows me to see the most common crashes according to the bug reports submitted by users, so please submit crashes through the Android crash pop-up when they happen so we can fix them!)
