Lynx Launcher is a customizable replacement for your home screen 📲 that provides a focused, clean and unobtrusive user interface.
Inspired by the Gnome Desktop Environment™ for Linux, Lynx Launcher offers all functionalities of a modern home screen without being too complex or distracting.

The favorites screen will show you all your favorite applications and contacts for easy and fast access.
🔍 Extended search functionality
The in-app search function allows you to search for apps, contacts, shortcuts, settings and can be used as a calculator or to start an online search using a search engine of your choice.
🎨 Theming for launcher and icons
You can use your favorite icon theme from Google Play, change the shape of the adaptive icons(*) or even change the whole theme of the Launcher.
🌙 Dark mode support
Choose whether Lynx Launcher should use a dark or a light theme or when the dark theme should be used. You can also change the dark mode individually for parts of the app.

Well done! Easy to set up. Learning curve is smooth and enjoyable. Highly customizable to the smallest degree, yet I'm happy with the setting of following the theme. Great desktop concept, informative online help section if you need it. Bought it within the hour, highly recommend everyone do the same. Very active development. Thank you for your hard work! Using folders in the dock is a plus! Lynx can be as minimalist or as busy as you like. A perfect blend of both!

My new favorite launcher! Simple yet can do pretty much everything I want a launcher to do. My only complaint is that I've encountered a bug where the appearance section in preferences says I need to enable some permissions, but when I go to the app settings in Android, it shows that I've allowed all available permissions.

This is very promising. It's got one of the best natural feels to it while still being fresh and interesting. I love the different swipe actions to open search, applications, and desktop. I love the dock on the side. One thing missing for me is the option in gestures to open recently used apps so I can switch between for certain things, or so that I can manually close out one and restart it. If that is added, I'll definitely spring for the paid version.
