This app uses the AccessibilityService permission for optional support of making certain system functions more accessible, such as with desktop gestures. For example screen off or opening the Recents screen. Nova will automatically prompt you to enable this if it is necessary for your configuration, for many cases it is not! No data is collected from the AccessibilityService, it is merely used to invoke system actions.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission for optional screen off/lock functionality.

Ratings and reviews

Perfect. As other reviews state, there are many options and neatly categorised. Once you grasp the way it's tidied, which makes perfect sense for me but maybe not for someone else, you manage to find things. However, if you don't, there's a search feature. Probably a niche feature request, but I'd like to be able to search among values, not only keys. For example, I've set a certain value to an app name (e.g. the Aves app), I'd search for "Aves" and it'd show where I've set it.

An update is necessary for the last version of Android. On the pixel 7, the launcher is great as it always was, but there are so many little navigation bug, the Google bar doesn't work sometime, if I want to return to home, I have a blank screen so I lock - unlock the phone.

I generally love the design options and the overall experience. Sadly, the app gets stuck several times a day, to the point where I cant open the app drawer or any apps on my home screen. All I can do is pull down the drop down menu, go to settings and reset the default launcher to the base one and then repeat that process to put it back to nova. I put up with it for a while but alas it is too annoying to keep as a permanent solution..
