Nice, simple and quick way to keep track of daily nutrition and encourages consistent healthy eating. One small irritation is the use of U.S. cups for the serving sizes - almost unknown outside of North America. After a quick chat with Dr. Greger (he responded *very* quickly), the volume of a fist is about right. In general, a smaller person will also have a smaller fist, which would be about right for adjusting consumption according to different body sizes.
Checklist feature is super easy. Explainations of why to eat the daily dozen are there easy and clear. Only problem is although technically not a nut peanuts are not listed under the nuts category. In Dr. Gregor's book "How not to Die" peanuts count as a nut in the checklist of the Daily Dozen. Since they are cheaper and more accessable than other nuts I think this needs to be added. Accessability is a big part of starting to eat better.
Keeps me mindful Dead simple to use. It acts as a reminder and reinforcer for eating your fiber, fruits, and veg. I love the link out allowing you info on portion sizes. First diet/health/habit app I have ever used and it is wonderful just in the little nudge it gives me to add an apple to my afternoon or a salad at lunch.
This is a great app but i would like to have seen a summary of my intake of vitamins minerals fibre fats carbs and so on and then an indication of where i am lacking or not as the case may be. I personally would be happy to pay for the app to support Dr. Greger's amazing work. I have his brilliant book which i highly recommend and the you tube channel is fantastic. Thank you Dr. Greger and all your volunteers also
Hey guys this app is great. Can I please recommend that you give an option to add additional things? E.g. so I can also remember to take my B12 supplement, probiotic, and medicine? Thanks a lot
A great tool to help start a healthy habit "Literary". Used it until it became such a simple daily habit, I now use it occasionally to just checkout different daily ideas. Thank you makers of this app and thank you Dr Greger
