Sketcher is a sketchbook where the brush does half the work for you. Instead of a single flat line, each brush builds its own texture as you draw — fur grows, a web stretches between strokes, circles widen with the speed of your hand.

WHAT'S NEW
• Redesigned from the ground up: your drawings now live in a gallery on the main screen, not behind a menu.
• Light and dark themes. Light by default, switch any time in settings.
• Stylus pressure. Press harder for a thicker, denser line — for S Pen and other active styluses. Finger touches are unaffected.
• Rebuilt brush panel with a live width slider.

• Sketchy — pencil strokes that thicken where the hand slows down

• Any background colour from a full palette, with an eyedropper and hex input
• Pinch to zoom, undo and redo at any point
• Work is saved automatically when you leave the app
• Share a drawing straight from the app, with or without the background

FOR PHONES AND TABLETS
The layout adapts to the screen: on a tablet the gallery shows more columns and the canvas gets more room. Convenient for finger drawing on a large screen — kids take to it immediately.

The tools are simple enough to start drawing the minute the app is installed, and deep enough to keep coming back. Free, with no time limits.

it could be a little BETTER... this is how. First off the procedural texture effects of your drawing lines are simply fantastic and make anyone look like a professional. However, the tools of pinching and zooming should be part of your basic finger guestures. You shouldnt have to go to a seperate menu each time to pinch and zoom. You should also be able rotate too with your fingers. and finally you should get rid of the accept option when selecting colors and pen sizes...make it easier

Couldn't use anything but the one pencil it started out with. Couldn't erase, couldn't change implements or color. I think it is just there to collect your personal data when you download it for purposes of selling it to third parties. I tried to be very careful today to not download anything that wanted those kinds of permissions, but I thought it was such a cool sounding app that I didn't look before downloading.

Sadly, it's working very badly on a Pixel 6a. The shading etc is tiny, basically invisible, and most of the tools are just producing intermittent lines. Very sad. I had a very old version on a very old phone and this is nothing like it.
