When I open a file from Samsung/My Files/ Documents, edit in Notepad, and then save, it disappears from the Documents folder. If I open the file from the app, it appears in the tree of the app. Why? That is confusing. It would help to save to the location the file was opened from, or at least give you the choice of locations.

Excellent text editing app. I need it mostly for taking notes. And I was so much used to the notepad++ pc app... I absolutely love that now I can store every note as a separate txt file in the phone memory. Brilliant! It would be nice to have a total symbols count showing somewhere on the open text file. Though even like that the app is more than suitable for my needs. 5 minutes it took to adjust the basic settings - default notes dtorage folder, designs etc... After that it's flawless to use.

I have been using this text editor for years. Prior to updates over the past year I would have recommended this app for text editing on an android phone. To be fair the bugs are fixed if you report them. There is still a bug around selecting auto fill words or spell corrected words in the middle of a paragraph. At the end of a paragraph it works fine. But if you try and select a suggested word and there are words after the cursor it doesn't allow you to automatically finish or correct the word.
