it works... but really should be updated. the interface and connection are clunky and outdated. there's nothing smooth about it. if it were classical music it would be like a poorly tuned AM station. get with it wqxr. you're always asking for donations. couldn't a pitance of that be used to tune up this app?

I was an avid listener to WQXR until it changed frequencies from 96.3 FM to 105.9 FM. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to obtain a clear listening experience at 105.9 so I gave up listening to this beloved station and missed it terribly. When the WQXR app came along I was overjoyed! It is THE best source for classical music, standards, and holiday music. It has been a great source of solice during this unprecedented year that is 2020. Thank you WQXR for this exceptional app.

love this station, do wish the app itself was a little more robust. no complaints about sound quality. I'd like there to be a way to make it so my phone recognizes it as an audio player app, so i could hit play/pause from my lockscreen or notification panel drop down. less important, but it would be nice if the stream was a little more in sync with the actual air time.
