“Jesus is alive”. This is a portion of the Bible: John 18-20 - text and audio, in the Carpathian Romani language.
The corresponding text is highlighted while the audio is played. You may choose between the Hungarian or the Romanian alphabet for displaying the Romani text. The two alphabets can be displayed also in parallel in separate windows, or verse by verse. The menu of the application is in Hungarian or in Romanian.
Translation of a Bible passage in a variant of Carpathian Romani spoken in Eastern Transylvania (Mures county), Romania - called by its speakers "romani chib ungrikon", since it has been heavily influenced by the Hungarian language.
„O Jézusisz máj kérgyá but ávér jeli ánglá pészkré tanitványá, szávé nányilé irimén án kede könyve. De kálá hász irimén, káj tumén té páttyán ké o Jézusisz hin o krájisz tráno kátho Dél, lé Délészkro csávo, the dáké páttyán kede, akor té ávél tumén életosz pordál lészkro náv.” (János 20,30-31)
