It's shocking that such a big and powerful bank can have such a bad app for payments. The app looks like it was built 20 years ago. You have to wait a long time for the code to change and when you're making multiple payments it's a complete waste of time. When you refresh it hoping the code changes, the same code appears with the timer starting at the beginning adding to your frustration. I am amazed that this horrible technology hasn't been changed in so long. I wish I could give - stars

Useless app...very complicated process to login on another phone. The message on the registration page says -> Login to HDFC internet banking and click on "Register" to receive registration token via SMS but there is no where "Register" option in HDFC net banking so how I'll receive registration token SMS. Even customer care is not able to understand my problem. Had very bad experience.

Unfortunately the registration process when you're setting this up on a new phone is quite complicated and requires you to reach out to the customer support over email/phone (not even a Bot) and hence introduces an unwarranted delay. I do not think that this is by design for enhanced security. Because the message on the registration page says -> Login to internet banking and click 'Register'. But given that I cannot log in to Internet Banking without logging into the eToken app first, how can I click on 'Register'? The least that could be done is show a message "Due to security reasons, we've disabled self request for registration token. Please reach out to xyz" or better still have a bot managed flow to verify the identity of the person. I have found HDFC Retail Banking experience to be amazing. But quite disappointed to see this kind of experience on the corporate banking side :(
