The professional basis consists of publicly available brochures,

text modules and sample forms from the Federal Ministry of Justice (BMJ), as well as the legal regulations governing guardianship law (§§ 1814 ff. and § 1827 of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

IS THIS LEGALLY VALID?
Advance healthcare directives, powers of attorney, and guardianship directives are generally not subject to any specific form: Your handwritten signature is sufficient; notarization is usually not required. Instead of a blank template, Ove explains each decision to you so you know what you are signing. In special cases—such as real estate or business interests in the power of attorney—the app will indicate when notarization is advisable or necessary.

All steps can be completed free of charge. You only pay for the finished PDF: a one-time fee of €9.99 per document, or €19.99 for the complete package with all three documents. Each additional person costs a one-time fee of €4.99. No subscription, no hidden costs.
