About this app
Cavea maintains the records required of wine producers and compiles documents required for submission to the office. The app is an add-on to your cavea.pl account, allowing you to log in using the same address and password, without separate registration.
WHAT IT DOES
A dashboard with statutory deadlines and a day counter. First, you must declare your intention to produce wine, a September 15th deadline that cannot be extended, then you must submit harvest and production declarations by January 15th, and inventory declarations by August 31st.
Registry: plots with varieties, harvests divided by intended use, production batches with a logbook and batches, laboratory analyses, inventory in hectoliters, products, and e-labels.
Declarations for the National Wine and Wine Support Center (KOWR): the form is created from data already in the records, outputs as an official attachment, opens on a smartphone, and is sent via email or to a hard drive. Submissions are checked with a single button, along with the case number.
Excise tax documentation: the blending certificate, blending card, and bottling inspection book, all composed of the same entries. These are displayed on your phone during inspections.
E-labels: a list of ingredients and nutritional values via QR code, required by Regulation (EU) 2021/2117 from December 8, 2023. The new version does not invalidate the previous version, so bottles with the previous code still trace back to the composition on the day of bottling.
Export of all records to a ZIP file: CSV tables and PDF declarations. This also works after the subscription expires, as it contains the manufacturer's data.
FOR WHOM
For wineries, breweries, cider houses, mead makers, and distilleries that maintain records and submit declarations. The account is set up by the service operator; the app does not create accounts independently.
SECURITY
The access token is stored in an encrypted system storage. The lock at the entrance, using a fingerprint, face, or lock code, closes the app separately from the phone, so giving someone an unlocked phone doesn't open the logs. Changing the password logs out other devices.
WHAT THE APP DOESN'T DO
It doesn't send declarations to the office on behalf of the manufacturer: the document is sent via ePUAP or by mail, and the service accepts a check mark indicating this has happened. It doesn't sell alcoholic beverages or present them to consumers. It doesn't replace accounting or legal advice.
