The RESET mobile app is an integral part of an innovative research project aimed at providing comprehensive support to patients preparing for oncological procedures (prehabilitation) and monitoring their recovery after surgery.
The tool was created to provide you with a sense of security, constant contact with medical staff, and easy access to personalized recommendations.
Key app features:
• Treatment Calendar: A clear schedule of your doctor's appointments, diagnostic tests, and treatments. Receive reminders about upcoming events and medications.
• Secure Chat: A direct communication channel with your Care Coordinator. Have questions? Send a real-time message.
• Smart Food Diary: Log your meals by taking photos. The app uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically recognize meals and estimate their protein, carbohydrate, and fat content.
• Specialist Recommendations: Access to personalized plans prepared by your treatment team: oncologist, dietitian, physiotherapist, psychologist, and pharmacist. • Activity Monitoring: Track your progress in physical rehabilitation. The app integrates with your fitness tracker, tracking your step count, sleep time, and calories burned.
• Voice Support (TTS): Using text-to-speech, the app can read aloud your recommendations, messages, and health summary – a feature that's friendly to visually impaired individuals.
• Knowledge Base: Proven educational materials about your condition, treatment methods, and ways to manage stress.
How to access? The app is available exclusively to patients qualified for the RESET clinical trial at the Voivodeship Specialist Hospital in Wrocław (WSS) or the 4th Military Clinical Hospital (4WSK).
To log in, scan the unique QR code you receive from your Coordinator during your hospital visit. The app doesn't require you to create an account or create passwords – your QR code is your key.
