About this app
Wordomat is an app for learning English words. You choose a level from A1 to C2, and the app shows you words one by one.
For each word, you rate your knowledge: "I can," "So-so," or "I can't." This rating determines whether and how often the word returns for review.
A word you don't know returns after a few others, while a word marked "So-so" appears less frequently.
When you select "I can," the word stops appearing. If it previously proved difficult, it will return in subsequent sessions to check whether it's retained your memory.
What's in the app:
• Approximately 6,100 words across six levels, from everyday vocabulary to academic and professional English
• Polish translations, example sentences, and British pronunciation
• Listen to pronunciations using your phone's built-in speech synthesizer
• Learn from English to Polish, from Polish to English, or alternately
• Progress at each level as a percentage
• List of all words in the level, with searches in English and Polish, where you can also manually change the word status
Dictionaries are built into the app, so you don't need internet access to learn. There's no need to create an account, and your progress is saved on your phone.
The app is free and displays ads. You can disable them with a one-time purchase.
