FixAm: Hire Verified Pros

BestDid

About this app

Need a plumber in Spintex or an electrician in Kumasi, and want to know who is coming to your house? FixAm shows you verified artisans and service providers near you. You talk to them yourself, on WhatsApp or by phone.

Every pro is checked before their profile goes live. We look at the Ghana Card, match a selfie to it, and check a reference from someone they have worked for. If a pro doesn't pass, they don't get listed. That keeps FixAm smaller than an open directory, and we're fine with that.

Finding someone takes about a minute. Pick the trade and your area. Open a profile to see photos of real jobs, the services offered, the areas covered and reviews from past customers. Then tap WhatsApp or Call. You agree the work and the price with the pro directly. You don't need an account to search or to contact anyone.

What the badges mean:
• Ghana Card verified (green): Ghana Card, selfie and a reference checked
• Certified (gold): the pro uploaded a trade certificate, such as NVTI, and we checked the document
• Registered business (blue): we checked the business registration certificate with the Office of the Registrar of Companies

Reviews come from customers who first confirm their phone number with a one-time code. If a job goes wrong, you can report the pro from their profile and our team looks into it.

You'll find plumbers, electricians, AC technicians, carpenters, masons, tilers, painters, welders, POP ceiling installers, mechanics, cleaners, fumigators, solar installers, tailors, hairdressers and barbers. Pros work in Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Takoradi, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Tamale and 70+ areas across Ghana. From home repairs to a haircut, search by trade.

Are you an artisan or a service provider? Join from the app. Sign up with your phone number, add your Ghana Card, a selfie and a reference, and our team reviews your details. Once you're approved, customers in your area can find you. From your dashboard you can:
• see how many people viewed your profile, tapped WhatsApp or called you
• add photos of your work and your trade certificates
• reply to reviews
• share your profile link and QR code
• open a business page for your shop or company

Verification takes some time, and nobody skips it.
