The Siberia Walking app was created by the Nordic Walking Association of the Krasnoyarsk Territory with the support of: the Ministry of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the United Russia party, the Federal Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in Krasnoyarsk, the Regional Children's and Youth Sports School, the B.Kh. Saitiev, KGBU SO “Rehabilitation Center “Rainbow”, Development Fund of the Boguchansky District “The Future Behind Us”, “All-Russian Society of the Disabled” (VOI) of the Boguchansky District. The project is supported by volunteers - CSR student groups.

The purpose of creating the application is to involve children, schoolchildren, students, elderly and retired people, people with disabilities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the implementation of physical culture and recreation activities aimed at developing healthy lifestyle skills, strengthening physical and psychological health, and forming habits for an active lifestyle by involving citizens in active background and Nordic walking.

The purpose of creating the application is achieved through the systematic holding of walking competitions in team and individual competitions, group training under the guidance of certified instructors, self-study of walking techniques with the help of video lessons.

An incentive to participate in competitions is the awarding of winners with various prizes that also contribute to the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. The application also provides an opportunity to explore new interesting routes for walking around the city of Krasnoyarsk and get to know the participants of the competition by creating general meetings through the application.

We believe that Nordic walking is a path to health and longevity, accessible to everyone!
