Ratings and reviews

There are some pretty low rated reviews on here and I pretty much agree with most of their content. I listen to both CBC Radio One through its app and Radio-Canada in French through the Ohdio app on my phone. The content is wonderful but the app is tricky to navigate and lacks a lot of basic functionalities that shouldn't be that hard to implement (i.e. downloading episodes to phone, navigating to find shows and episodes, etc).

I thought the other reviews had to be hyperbolic, but I can't even download an episode to listen to it later. Every single time I get an error message or pushing download does nothing at all. Honestly, if Radio-Canada insists on hiding RSS Feeds to force us to use their proprietary app instead, the least they could do is ensure basic functionality.

Everything is awful about this app except the actual content which is amazing. You have to start all over if you don't finish an episode. You can't skip ads which would be fine if it wouldn't be the same ad over and over again. The play button sometimes doesn't work. Layout is weird. The search function sometimes works, sometimes doesn't so you have to figure out if it's a current show or it's a podcast in order to find it. Spelling has to be spot on. Not intuitive whatsoever.
