Going.red is the Helsinki events grid – a minimal, clutter and ad-free, privacy-respecting way to see what's on, mark what you're going to, and share with friends.
WHY GOING.RED?
Event listings are scattered across Instagram, Facebook, and a dozen apps.
Facebook Events keeps getting worse. We wanted to see an entire weekend at once, in one place, without having to scroll past ads or irrelevant stuff.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Browse the calendar grid – see every public event for the week at a glance
• Mark events Going or Maybe, see who else is going
• Host your own events – public, unlisted, or private invite-only
• Save your picks to your phone calendar (.ics)
• Favorite venues and hosts so their events float to the top
• Search by venue, host, or keyword
• Share events with a tap – open with QR or link
• Easy magic-link login: one email, you stay signed in
• No profile to complete, unless you want
WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone who likes going out in Helsinki. Right now we're focused on nightlife
and the cultural scene – clubs, gigs, parties, festivals – and we're
expanding category coverage as we grow.
FOR HOSTS
Tag yourself as a public host in Settings and your events appear on the grid.
Less than 30 seconds. If your venue or promoter already publishes events
digitally, email hello@going.red and we'll plug it in directly — no extra
work for you.
NO CLUTTER
No ads. No notifications you didn't ask for. No tracking pixels selling your
data. Just events.
