This is a perfect app because it does exactly one thing and does it well: it's an English-Japanese dictionary. That's it. No extraneous features to bloat it. You look up words and it gives you definitions. That's all it needs to be. And it functions perfectly fine offline too. My only issue is that you can't remove the ad, but it's so minor and unobtrusive that it doesn't matter.

I like this app a lot, I've been using it for many years. I do wish there was a way for me to just search for katakana, or search for words that are a certain amount of characters. I use it a lot for a game called Shiritori, in which you have to make a word out of the end-pieces of a previous word. Some of the rounds are limited as aforementioned, and as the app and website are right now, it's a bit tedious to find a good word. Still love it overall! The app is also very pleasant to look at.

This is a neat and useful app that aids my Japanese learning. I like that the app is offline, a huge plus. This app also offers different ways of searching words. I was able to look up words using Kana, Kanji, Romaji, and English. In addition, you can also select radicals if you don't know the spelling of a specific word.
