Ratings and reviews

It worked at first. It seemed really great to learn Japanese and translate so I bought the lifetime subscription. Then after I started to use it today it was translating jibberish. Saying everything was numbers or dollar signs and when I highlighted it, it seemed to not be registering the right characters anymore. :( Edit: I added a few more stars it seems to work randomly. I'm using the Google translate app, which is not as good, when this app doesn't translate or turns into jibberish.

I absolutely enjoy this app, a lot. It's very helpful with a variety of kanji look up functions. I've even been able to use it for videogames and Japanese text. It uses the phone camera to scan the words and then highlight them. I've also been able to save what I've learned with the notebook function. There are a few things that slows the app down but nothing anyone can't manage. ありがとうございました！

I love the app, especially when I'm trying to translate fanart, comics, etc., the picture translate is amazing. Sometimes it will not detect all parts of the image but it's still very useful. I dislike the 3/day limit, and I think I would be okay with watching ONE add for an extra one or so. However, even the premium subscription seems like it's worth the money to a frequent user. ~$22/year for unlimited access? Pretty reasonable. Good app, easy to navigate.
