About this app
Prepare your next recording and follow your script on an Android phone or tablet. Prompter Studio brings together a local script library, rich text editing and a teleprompter controlled over your local network.
Organise documents, add markers, import text and back up your library to files you choose. The library, editing and export remain available without an active Pro licence.
With Pro, use the prompter display and remote control between compatible devices on the same network. Set a reading speed from 40 to 400 WPM, use a countdown and reading guide, adjust the font and mirror the display for teleprompter glass. Your phone can follow the passage being read on the tablet in a full-screen monitor with controls you can hide.
Scripts are stored locally. Connecting your phone and tablet sends the document and commands directly over your LAN. The current version uses TCP and a pairing PIN without encrypting local content; use a trusted network. Licence verification uses HTTPS and periodically requires internet access.
Choose from three Pro options: a €6 monthly subscription, a €36 annual subscription billed in full (equivalent to €3 per month), or Lifetime for a one-time payment of €99.99. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and are managed through Google Play. For other currencies and territories, the local price shown by Google before confirmation applies. Lifetime has no automatic renewal but still requires periodic technical licence revalidation.
To restore access on your phone and tablet, use the same Google Play account and select Restore purchases on each device. A purchase does not replace document backups. Offline access after verification lasts up to seven days and never beyond the access period confirmed by Google.
A connected session uses an Android notification to maintain the connection in the background; you can end the session from that notification. Android and manufacturer restrictions, the network and device permissions can affect the connection. Check your session before an important recording.
