This is perfgect for my purposes. The title says it all: simple. I wasn't looking for any "bells or whistles." I only wanted a very basic app for creating .txt files on my Android smartphone. Once I figured out how to attach files to the phone's email app I was happy (that issue was from my email app, not SimpleEditor. Any mistakes I make in a .txt file I plan to fix from my PC. Thank you for this app.

Can't delete a file (typical non-functionality of Microsoft editors, but nearly all other editors can delete a file). No dark mode to save battery life. Similar to WordPad. Best Android editor I found, and I tried a dozen+. I will rate 5 stars when the editor has dark mode and deletes files. I have 2.8.8. I have not noticed any bugs. It works very well.

EPERCEPTION

This text editor (but almost) complicates fundamentally the existence instead of simplifying it. Just like my role of the Philosopher, the final Philosopher closing the gate of the Philosophy, "The Philosophia®" is certainly not intended to complicate the existence but simplifying it instead. In the plain English this text editor is a waste of time and data. It doesn't work period. Moreover, I tried it long time ago on several other android devices. Prière d'excuser mon language mes chers amis!

What’s new

A new feature has been added to the file manager window: Find File.
Now you can quickly find the file you need on your disk to open it.
To use the search, open the editor's main menu and select "Open."
Then, click the "Additionally" button in the top bar of the file manager.
