Seven short columns, thirty-five cards, and a single upturned card to play against. That is the whole board in Golf Solitaire, and it empties one card at a time.
The card in the waste is your reference point. Anything exposed at the foot of a column may leave the table if it sits exactly one rank above or one rank below it. Suits are ignored completely, so a nine of clubs answers a ten of hearts just as well as a ten of spades. Chain those answers together and a column can vanish in a single sweep. Each card you clear is worth ten points, and every card still on the table when the deal ends costs you ten.
Two details keep it honest. The stock holds seventeen cards and never recycles, so every flip is spent for good. And you settle before the deal whether the run bridges King and Ace: leave the bridge in place and an Ace answers a King, take it out and both ends of the ladder become dead stops.
Rounds are short by nature, which makes this an easy one to open between two errands and close again without losing the thread.
It runs without a connection, keeps your streaks and times, lets you step back through your last hundred moves, and reads in 33 languages.
