About this app

The NUHS App is a mobile healthcare app solution that aims to empower, engage and enable patients to manage and take charge of their health. Developed by the National University Health System (NUHS) and Synapxe Pte. Ltd. (formerly known as Integrated Health Information Systems Pte Ltd), users will be able to access health information and services across the following NUHS institutions:
• National University Hospital
• Ng Teng Fong General Hospital
• Alexandra Hospital
• Jurong Community Hospital
• National University Polyclinics
• National University Heart Centre, Singapore
• National University Cancer Institute, Singapore
• National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore
• Jurong Medical Centre

Patients will be able to:
• Manage their appointments and receive notifications for appointment reminders
• Register on the go and check their queue status
• Request for medication refills or top-ups
• Purchase and download their medical reports directly from the app
• View and make payment for outstanding bills
• Access the app using biometric data such as fingerprint and facial recognition
• Link to ‘MyInfo’ in Singpass for a more convenient set up of ‘My Profile’
• Pre-fill appointment and medication request forms with their contact details once ‘My Profile’ has been set up
• Enable caregiver consent to access functions of the app
• View health records such as lab test results, immunisation and prescription records
• Obtain recommendations on health screenings and vaccinations based on their demographics and health status
• Interact with the chatbot to obtain information on clinic operating hours and other commonly asked questions

NUHS App uses Google Fit and HealthKit to access health information via your health devices.

I don't understand why NUH forced users to use this app. The previous booking system was better since you didn't have to do everything on a tiny phone screen. Worse, not every person has a smartphone. Now, if you can't make an appointment on the app (such as when there are the all too frequent connectivity issues), a team assigns you a time and date, then mails you the details. No consideration for your schedule though. Please just allow online appointment management.

Good from an informational and functionality perspective. However, its technical reliabilty is really wanting. For the last 6 hours in the afternoon, the app is inaccessible due to connectivity issues. This seems to be a common occurrence with reference to past reviews. Hope the app's tech team is able to improve on its access reliability.

Highly unreliable and extremely buggy app. When you feed back to the technical team, they say we need to let the people who recommended us the app know about the issue. And when you tell those people who recommended the app, they say their job is only to recommend. We would need to talk to the technical team on the phone. And now begins the ping pong game where no one knows who is gonna settle the damn technical problem which has been plaguing users since 2-3 years ago till today.
