Prayer First helps you start the day with Scripture before feeds.
Choose the apps that usually pull you into scrolling, then set a daily lock window. When you try to open one of those apps, Prayer First gently holds it behind a shield until you complete a Scripture-first habit: open a supported Bible app, use a physical Bible timer, or write a short journal entry.
Prayer First is built for Christians who want a practical, private way to put first attention back where it belongs.
Features include:
Block chosen distracting apps during your lock window
Unlock with Bible app time, physical Bible reading, or journaling
Keep a simple prayer journal
Add journal photos and review editable OCR text
Browse past entries by day
Search and reconnect notes with Power Pack
Keep journal text and photos on your device
Prayer First is not a replacement Bible app, counseling tool, or impossible-to-bypass blocker. It is a personal habit tool for making prayer and Scripture the easier first reach.
Prayer First uses Android Accessibility Service for its core app-locking feature. When you choose apps to lock, the service notices when one of those selected apps comes to the front during your locking window so Prayer First can show its shield before the feed opens. Prayer First does not read screen text, capture keystrokes, record screen content, or send Accessibility data off your device. You can turn Accessibility Service off at any time in Android Settings; app locking will stop working if you disable it.
