I was able to connect the camera to my Wi-Fi and see the video but with light set to Auto. it's not turning the light on even though it's very dark outside. but the biggest issue is all the ads. not only does it still show ads after getting cloud service, which was supposed to disable them, but the ads include ones that clearly have malware or viruses. That's recent enough to avoid buying their camera if you see this beforehand.

Is there another app that will work with this camera???!!! UPDATE: The camera is no longer working at all!! Keeps disconnecting then reconnecting,then when it's finally connected,it freezes then does it all over again. GARBAGE! The camera itself is OK. Just ok though.It has good video quality during the day,but at night it's a different story...it actually kind of sucks at night. The light doesn't get bright enough to light up anything,therefore the nighttime mode doesn't work in the app.

For how cheap you can get these cameras it's really a steal! I made up a cord from an extension cable and mounted the socket provided! installed the app and now have reliable eyes out front of my property sheds! As long as the Wifi can reach the camera you get pretty good picture & sound plus the microphone is quite sensitive too so people talking low nearby can still be heard. Also has a small speaker to relay your voice through the camera, good for rounding up the pets at dinner time 😁
