There are 3 types of alerts:
- Voice alert - Voice alert in English!
- Audible warning
- Alert Notification

You control the alert volume on your phone.
- Voice alert - multimedia phone volume
- Sound alert - Ringtone volume
- Notification warning - phone volume for notifications

If the phone volume is muted, the app will alert you. Either turn up the volume or turn off the alarm.

IMPORTANT!!! For phones with Android 8.0 and later
Some phones need to be customized (Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Poco, Oneplus, Vivo..).

The most important one is "Lock app in recently used apps" and turn off battery optimization for Battery app.
1. Disable battery optimization for Battery Alarm app.
2. Lock app in recently used apps.
3. allow auto start option

select a voice alert for men or women (only in some languages),

If you don't like it, you can request a refund within a month.
The difference between the free version and the PRO version is small, the functionality is the same!!!

Very good free battery monitor app that notifies when charge exceeds a configurable max threshold eg 80% or falls below a minimum eg 30%. Keeping the charge within limits is said to greatly prolong battery life (eg see 'battery university' website) and often therefore increases useful device life when it is difficult to replace. The notifications can easily be disabled temporarily or the thresholds changed when you need to go outside the limits you set. And no adverts :)

It's a great little app, it works as described, no ads, no fuss, which I love. I only have one complaint: The low battery notice keeps going off again and again and can't be stopped unless you plug the phone in. I tried swiping, checking settings, opening the app, nothing would make it stop other than plugging it in. Fix that one annoyance, and you'll have 5 stars.

It's simple and functional without all the BS involved with so many apps. My only issue is with the "notification". It needs to stay on the screen until acknowledged. It vibrates and flashes on the screen only once assuming you have the voice/sound off. It's easy to miss. Still a great app. I use a Samsung S9.
