There are 3 types of alerts:
- Voice alert - Voice alert in English!
- Audible warning
- Alert Notification

You control the alert volume on your phone.
- Voice alert - multimedia phone volume
- Sound alert - Ringtone volume
- Notification warning - phone volume for notifications

If the phone volume is muted, the app will alert you. Either turn up the volume or turn off the alarm.

IMPORTANT!!! For phones with Android 8.0 and later
Some phones need to be customized (Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Poco, Oneplus, Vivo..).
The most important one is "Lock app in recently used apps" and turn off battery optimization for Battery app.
1. Disable battery optimization for Battery Alarm app.
2. Lock app in recently used apps.

Looks like an attractive, mature, app that does just what I want. But it turned out to need workarounds, for some reason. Never uncheck "notification warning". If I do, I cannot re-enable it. It *looks* like I can re-enable it, but then when I switch apps, it unchecks itself. I have to reset the entire app. (Also, the Battery Full notification does not auto-dismiss when I unplug the phone charger). An earlier minor notification issue was resolved, no email reply but the app is free :-)

It is great to warn of low battery and to alert you to disconnect the charging cable when almost fully charged. Recently the little orange notification circle with the battery percentage has disappeared. I found it useful as easier to see than the tiny numbers at the top of the screen. I do have the pro version thank you, but can not find the Badge or icon setting.

At first I thought this was a good app but I'm uninstalling this, as it's unfair that you have to buy the pro version to gain the facility to change the notification tone. The tone chosen for the free version is the same tone for person approaching on my security camera at home. That is not acceptable. This makes the app too inflexible to keep with it. If I could have properly assessed it I'd have been happy to upgrade.
