About this app

Note taking app with folder structure and synchronization with Dropbox account.

Key features:
- two-way sync
- plain text format
- app can be used offline

Additional features:
- save selected text (i.e. from web browser) directly into note*
- customizable text editor, fonts, themes and sync settings

* this feature requires API 23 (Android Marshmallow) or later

There are no full screen pop-up adds. There is an add bar, which can be removed by purchasing full version.

More detailed description:
Sync works two-way, thus you can edit text files from your Dropbox folder on PC or other devices. App reads and writes files in plain text format (default .txt).
App can be used offline. Changes are locally stored and synchronized later via background service or sync on demand.
On newer devices (API > 23) app offers an option to save text selection directly into a note.
Text editor offers undo / redo and is highly customizable.

Internet access permission is required for synchronization purposes with your Dropbox account. Should the app crash, the app will also ask for the permission to send a
crash log via Crashlytics tool (Crashlytics is owned and operated by Google inc.).

Other permissions are required for background sync, which can be turned off.

The developer is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Dropbox Inc.

Happy note taking experience :)

I love this! I use it to edit my to-do list, shopping list, and reading list on the go. I've tried MANY cloud-syncing plain text editors for Android. This is hands-down the best choice if you're looking for a simple, reliable text editor and without a bunch of clutter from code editing features. (Why would you want to do that on mobile, anyway?)

This is the first app I've found that allows cross-platform synchronization to basic notes WITH offline access, and WITHOUT the use of an additional cloud service beyond Dropbox. I set a desktop shortcut to the Dropbox folder used by the app and can FINALLY can see the same content in both my Windows 10 PC and two Android devices. Solves a problem created by the absence of a desktop app for Dropbox Paper.

This might seem really stupid to some, but for me it makes it so I can't use the app. The cursor is orange and there is also a big orange line/bar underneath what I write. It might be because of my ADHD or other neurodivergent traits, but those things are so distracting to me that I lose my thoughts and I just end up not using the app. There doesn't seem to be any way to change these things in the settings.
