The village of Ladice with 801 inhabitants lies 14 km west of Zlaté Moraviece, at the junction of the Žitavská hills and the south-eastern foot of Tríbeč. The village is located on both banks of the stream Drevenica at an altitude of 160-400 m and stretches in a semicircle. To the north-west of the village is an old quarry known for mining high-quality quartzite, which is also known to the Celts.
