About this app

Utakoto is an app that lets you learn Japanese using your favorite songs.

When you add Japanese songs from YouTube, furigana, Korean pronunciation, and natural translations are automatically provided, and your own vocabulary list is created using the words in the songs. Instead of textbooks, you can use your favorite songs; just hum along and before you know it, your Japanese will have improved.

■ Karaoke Mode (New)

When you play a song, the lyrics are highlighted one character at a time in time with the music. The pronunciation right below the Japanese text fills in at the same speed, allowing you to learn by naturally singing along, just like in a karaoke bar. When you open a song, choose between the learning mode for calm study and the karaoke mode to follow along with the music.
