An offline snake game with no lobby, no server and no other players. A wireframe grid, a growing tail, and an arena that gets more crowded every level. The classic loop, rebuilt in neon, with the two things the original never had: a scoring chain worth chasing, and obstacles that arrive on a schedule you can learn.
IT SPEEDS UP AND IT CLOSES IN
• Every level shortens the time between moves — from 130 milliseconds down to a floor of 50. That floor matters: past it the game would stop being playable, so it holds.
• Every level also adds obstacles to the arena. They are placed as isolated single blocks, never adjacent to each other, so the space gets tighter without ever growing a dead-end maze you could not have avoided.
• The result is pressure from two directions at once — less time to react, less room to react in.
THE CHAIN IS THE SCORE
Every point you score routes through a streak multiplier. Keep eating without dying and everything is worth more; the chain is the difference between a decent run and a great one.
BONUS ORBS
Worth 70 plus 15 per level, and they do not wait. The deeper you are, the more they pay and the less time you have to reach them — which is exactly when going for one is the wrong idea.
