1. Will not start up in search mode automatically instead of the home screen; it always requires multiple clicks to get started. 2. Long-pressing any word within a definition "pretends" to allow the user to search the meaning of the selected word, but, in reality, it never works. 3. No black amoled theme. 4. Credits and "source info" are mixed in with the definitions, making it hard to determine where one definition ends, and where the next one begins.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. I will pass them onto our development team. Regarding the long-press search feature, after you long-press a word and tap the magnifying in the app's top toolbar, what happens? We have not been able to reproduce an issue with this.

For me, the page set up was too busy. After the word definition, would much rather have a SIMPLE example of word usage than origin. Origin should be on a separate screen. It clutters up the page. I like the games and brain tracking. Downloaded offline function but was unable to open/use. A 'help' category within settings would be nice.

Thank you for your feedback. To use the offline dictionary, use the app menu to switch to offline mode and then search for a word. Please contact us at support[at]tfd[dot]com if you have any more questions and we'd be glad to help.

I'm a non native speaker of the English language, and often times I need to look up a word's meaning, its pronunciation and a few examples demostrating its use. This app handles the experience quite beautifully, and it throws in a few useful features like idiom of the day and quote of the day. It also includes some features that are very useful for non-advanced speakers, like tense forms. I wish I had known about this app sooner. Been recommending it to everyone I know.
