This is a really good rogue like, hard, but fun
This game is a lot of fun. There's a pretty steep learning curve, so expect to be terrible in the beginning. My only complaint is the loot tables. If I build a Warrior, I'll find more ammo than I know what to do with. If I build a gunner, no ammo anywhere. A small issue, but very aggravating. Aside from that, very fun, and very challenging. Worth a play.
Could be great roguelike, but most of potential feels wasted. Game offers tons of cool upgrades, but unlocking any of them at all feels impossible. Extremely RNG. Impossible to stay alive for any reasonable amount of time. Mining is very slow and tedious. Monsters, on the other hand, come in plenty, overpowering you no matter what, offering no reward. Controls could be improved - a lot of times I simply moved instead of shooting - when the gun is on cooldown. All in all, it feels like none of the upgrades you can eventually get (most likely in a year of playtime) will change anything. Tried the game a year ago as well - nothing changed. It is as fun as bashing your head at the wall. No sustain, and not even balanced to live through a single level. If you really want to have a tooth-breakingly hard experience, try Cardinal Quest 2. That is hard, but gives you reasonable chances at success no matter the RNG, unlike this one.
Solid pixel rpg
Once you start out the game you feel like your all so powerful but you can easily be destroyed by simple things like the goblins or skeletons that is what the game does I recommend you get the game because for a simple game its really fun and it's free. Ps: I know the game is limited in what you do in the beginning l recommend you get the first upgrade where you can make a fighting minion that takes up energy.Please just give the game a try and thank you 36dev on creating this game and updating it regularly it deserves at least 4-5 ;D
Fairly stable game, rocksolid on everything and pretty decent sounds. Just wish there was a way to keep the awesome gamebreaking plasma gun (maybe it can cost 50 gem per run to buy, and ammo 75coin per ammo?) And that there was more secrets, lvs per area, and another area. Ik it's a one dev job and you're doing amazing. The mushrooms certainly add survivability, since they add time to buffs (cept regeneration) & red heals. Love the bowgun. I'm always favoring hammers l8 game. about to jump into latest build sweet a new build! Loved the grenades, they add survivability to hard mode and the loot box and sweep squad is useful. Still gotta kill em but it's nice when you need an opening near spider nests. I'll update my comment in a few days.
