The application displays the current patient volume at approximately 120 emergency departments in Quebec, updated every 15 minutes using publicly available data from the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS). It shows occupancy levels, people waiting, and average length of stay.

The "Near Me" button is primarily used to decide if it's worth driving an extra 20 minutes to avoid a crowded room. The calculation is done on the phone; the location is not sent anywhere. Pediatric, psychiatric, and cardiac emergency departments are identified, there is a child mode, and each hospital has its own page with trends over the last 7 days, typically quiet hours, and directions. Favorites remain at the top of the list. The latest data can be viewed offline.

No need to create an account. There are no ads either. And it obviously doesn't replace a doctor.
