this app is better than Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and Paramount+ with all the top movies and shows I can always find something good to watch in my spare time after a long day when I relax

The interface is fine, but on a Pixel 9 Pro the app does not control brightness, so is subject to auto dimming, and also does not prevent screen timeout, so will regularly allow the phone to turn off while watching a film. This is borderline unusable for a movie. Minimising picture-in-picture also pauses whatever is playing, so is not seamless

Rakuten is totally useless if you have hearing issues as subtitles are not available for its content even though the user interface allows you to change the sizes of the non-existent captions. Most other streaming platforms make more of an effort.
