Font! Lightbox tracing app is an integrated tracing app for drawing and illustrating fonts. This app is meant to be used with a physical paper for stencilling and drawing. you just need to select a template font, enter your custom text, then place a tracing paper over it and begin tracing.

The default app is a white screen with a brightness control setting. Place your reference font over the device and begin tracing. Great for making stencils, sketchbook crafts, connect-the-dot's puzzles, tattoo transfers, etc.

There is a lock button which will maximize the drawing space, and prevent the device from sleeping.

It's really great for making stencils and to practice drawing fonts with.

Features include: -

- use your custom ttf and otf files.
- pan, rotate, zoom the text references.
- button to toggle rotate on and off.

The app is suitable for artists, students, and parents as well as casual users of all ages to do art and craft.

There is a wide range of uses for Tracer! app including: -
- traditional cell art animation and tracing
- calligraphy and font tracing (e.g. to transfer calligraphic fonts and swirl patterns onto posters and paintings)
- making stencils (e.g. for Halloween pumpkin carving; graffiti and spray painting art; Christmas snow stencils; cake decorating stencils)
- making tattoo transfers
- outline tracing (e.g. for colouring activity sheets; making connect-the-dots puzzles; practise writing letters and numbers)

Ratings and reviews

I used to love this app, but the ads every 30 seconds are ridiculous! The only thing you can do here that stands out, is trace letters in the font of your choice. But you can do that on any font site by typing your letters, saving the image, and tracing it instead. I'm uninstalling, because the pop up full page ads & no option to purchase ad-free are a dealbreaker. I'm not putting up with that while trying to scroll and find a font I like from their limited selection. It's too bad, it was great.

I would like it more if the lock disappears until you press a KEY not the screen. Also make it so you don't keep sliding the top phone menu down while moving. And lock the screen so it doesn't accidentally switch views and reset!! Would like to see the percentage we used so we can resize the pic again if needed.

love this app! lots of fonts to choose from. easy navigating and it lets you see the words you want as you look through them. easy file sharing as well as making your screan lock in place and the screen can get really bright so tracing is easy. Makes tracing easy so you can quickly draw up a stencil.
