Build a steadier typing rhythm with Keyboard Typing Practice. Start with guided mobile lessons, practise your own words, and measure your speed with timed typing tests. It is a practical place for beginners to work on accuracy and for regular typists to revisit difficult characters.
LEARN IN SMALL STEPS
Begin with 18 Mobile basics exercises covering repeated letters, word groups, phrases, and mixed reviews. Follow the 95% accuracy goal in this course to unlock the next exercise. Continue with capitalization, punctuation, everyday messages, and corrections. Completed lessons remain available when you want another attempt.
Choose optional number and symbol drills to practise changing keyboard layers. If you use a physical keyboard, explore the Touch typing course and separate home-row, top-row, and bottom-row exercises. The touch typing course contains 240 exercises with a 95% accuracy target. Choose the path that fits the keyboard you use.
PRACTISE AT YOUR OWN PACE
Open Practice for letters, words, or sentences without a countdown. Exercises with repetition controls offer short, standard, and extended practice options. Watch the highlighted position as you type: correct characters turn green and errors turn red. Use Backspace to make corrections while keeping an honest record of mistakes.
Make an exercise from your own text. Enter or paste a message, a quote, or another passage of up to 2,000 characters, then choose 1 to 10 repetitions. The complete repeated exercise can contain up to 10,000 characters. This lets you rehearse familiar wording instead of relying only on built-in passages.
CHECK SPEED AND ACCURACY
Choose a 30, 60, or 120 second speed test. Timing begins with your first character, so you have time to read before starting. Live statistics show words per minute, accuracy, and time remaining. Pasting is disabled in speed tests to keep the task focused on manual typing.
Pause and resume a session when you need a break, retry after a result, or reset an unfinished attempt. Results show accuracy, WPM, elapsed time, correct characters, and errors. WPM uses five correct characters per word; corrected mistakes still count in the accuracy score.
SEE WHAT TO WORK ON NEXT
Progress keeps up to 100 recent attempts on this device, including the exercise text and results. Retry a saved attempt or compare completed tests with the same duration. Review frequently missed characters and launch a focused drill from the weak-character section.
The home screen brings together your saved attempt count, best completed-test WPM, recent average accuracy, and basics progress. Continue learning returns you to the saved lesson position, making it easier to pick up your practice routine.
CHOOSE A COMFORTABLE SETUP
Use light, dark, or system appearance from Settings. Mobile typing tips explain comfortable thumb placement, a relaxed grip, and why accuracy comes before speed. Built-in exercises and progress storage are local; advertising and external links may use an internet connection.
