Review from A Google User
Practical and intuitive This app is practical, intuitive and very handy. It does just what it should. My one criticism is that when choosing a home station, you can't selelct "London (All)". The app only offers specific London stations, such as London Victoria or London Euston. When I'm out of town and planning my journey home, I just need information for the train that will take me back to any London terminus. Perhaps a future improvement.
Since update I keep getting... Helps get you from A to B
Very 2010 This app looks very out of touch. The interface belongs on Android 2.0. There doesn't seem to be a way to integrate pre-booked reservations and open a mobile ticket. And for just £4.99, you can upgrade to the ad-free version! How is £4.99 a reasonable price to remove ads? I know the devs need to eat but surely if it was lowered, the profit margin through a greater volume of purchases would be more prosperous.
Unclear and misleading Happily generates results with '0 changes' despite no trains offering that journey. Presumably the (unexplained) crossing arrow icon is supposed to warn you of this. National Rail staff just tell you to pay for the upgraded app because 'the free one is useless.'
Excellent! Way better than that irritatingly pointless ScotRail app! Wish I found this app sooner. It's accurate, simple and useful! I highly recommend this app.
No platform information makes this app close to pointless, as you can't use it to give you all the needed information for travel. This is apparently a problem with the data feeds, but it means I'm not receiving the information I paid for. It could also use am update to the interface, but that's minor compared to the missing data.
Not Perfect but... ... Functional. Occasionally doesn't show results which can sometimes be an inconvenience, but more importantly is UI/UX design. I'm disappointed this app doesn't use Material Design. The overly rounded edges and general style makes it feel very... old-style iOS-esque.
We’re aware that some users may have had an issue with the previous version of our app and got an error message when updating. The issue is fixed now, but if you did get the error message you may need to install the latest update, then uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working as normal again.
We’ve also implemented a few fixes for journey alerts.
