KERF is a feet and inches calculator that speaks tape measure.
Type it the way you would say it: "2 feet 4 1/2". Kerf converts between feet, inches, fractions and millimetres instantly, down to 1/64, and tells you honestly when a fraction is an approximation rather than pretending otherwise.
A live inch ruler on screen shows you the measurement at scale, so a number becomes a length you can picture.
BOARD FEET: length, width and thickness in, board feet and cost out. Price your timber before you are standing at the till.
PITCH: rise and run to angle and to X:12, for rafters, ramps and stairs.
RUNNING TALLY: add cuts as you go and keep the total.
