Touch Lock is a simple touch lock and touch blocker for Android: freeze the whole screen while a video plays, or block only a partial screen area where touches go wrong.
Hand your phone to a child for a cartoon, watch a film in bed, or keep a cracked corner of the glass from tapping things on its own. Touch Lock puts a see-through layer over the app you are using, so the picture keeps playing while taps and swipes are ignored.
▸ FULL SCREEN TOUCH LOCK
• One tap locks the screen. A short start delay gives you time to open your video or game first.
• Unlock by holding the small lock button for 2 seconds. A single tap, a palm resting on it or a second finger never unlocks.
• The button fades almost to nothing after a few seconds, so it does not sit over the picture. Pick the corner it lives in.
• The screen stays on while locked, so a lock screen for video does not go dark mid-episode.
• Works as a toddler lock: little hands can tap and swipe, and the cartoon keeps playing.
▸ PARTIAL SCREEN ZONES
• Drag rectangles over the areas you want to block. Everywhere else keeps working as usual.
• Move and resize each zone, and tint zones so you can see them.
• Zones are saved by their place on the glass, so they stay in the right spot when you rotate the phone.
• Touch finder: every touch leaves a dot, including touches you did not make, so you can see which area misbehaves before you draw.
• A ghost touch blocker for faulty areas: block touches in faulty areas of the screen and keep using the rest of the phone.

Android keeps the status bar, gesture navigation and the power and volume buttons above every app layer. On newer Android versions those may still respond while Touch Lock is on. For a complete lock, Touch Lock includes a step-by-step guide to screen pinning, the Android feature that keeps one app on screen. Pin the video app, then lock touch.
Touch Lock blocks touches; it cannot repair screen hardware. If you need to block touch on a broken screen, it keeps the faulty area from reacting, and a repair shop is still the real fix. Restarting the phone always removes the lock.
